Graeme Dunphy

CV

Born in Glasgow in 1961, Graeme Dunphy studied German at Stirling 1979-84 and Hebrew and Old Testament at St Andrews 1984-87. He recieved his doctorate in Medieval German Literature in 1998.

Before entering university teaching, he worked for the Church of Scotland from 1987 until 1993. He then lectured in English and German at the University of Regensburg for twenty years, and at the same time taught with the Open University and the University of London (open access programme). Since September 2013 he has been Professor of Translation at the University of Applied Sciences of Würzburg-Schweinfurt, Germany.
